III. Structure and Working Principle of Disc Fine Bubble Diffusers

Disc fine bubble diffusers are typically designed with a slightly domed (convex) surface, and the main body is manufactured from ABS engineering plastic, offering excellent mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.
The diffuser membrane is made of EPDM rubber with anti-fouling surface properties, specially processed for long-term submerged operation.

The membrane micro-pores are manufactured using CNC precision perforation, ensuring consistent pore size and high accuracy, which results in uniform bubble distribution and stable aeration performance.
During operation, the diffuser body incorporates six internal air distribution channels. After passing through the check valve, air is evenly guided to the central area of the membrane, allowing the membrane to open smoothly with low resistance.

A threaded reverse-lock mechanical assembly is used to secure the membrane, effectively preventing loosening or detachment during long-term operation and ensuring safe, reliable performance.

When air is supplied, the membrane micro-pores automatically expand, allowing air to pass through smoothly. When aeration stops, the pores close automatically. This variable pore opening and closing mechanism effectively prevents sludge and impurities from entering the pores, reducing the risk of clogging.
In addition, a built-in check valve at the diffuser base prevents mixed liquor from backflowing into the air distribution pipes when air supply is stopped, further protecting the system from blockage.

IV. Features of Panel Fine Bubble Diffusers

Panel fine bubble diffusers feature a flat, elongated structure and are suitable for large-area installation, especially in aeration tanks requiring highly uniform air distribution. Their operating principle is the same as that of disc diffusers, relying on membrane micro-pores to generate fine bubbles.
In large tanks, panel diffusers can reduce the total number of diffusers required, simplifying installation and air piping layouts.

V. Applicable Wastewater Types

Fine bubble diffusers are suitable for wastewater with relatively clean and stable water quality, including:
