Application Scope of Vortex Aerator

Vortex aerator feature outstanding anti-clogging performance and powerful mixing capacity. They are widely adopted in biochemical aeration and liquid mixing processes for wastewater treatment, and are especially suitable for water bodies with high suspended solids, high hardness, easy scaling and oily pollutants. The main applicable scenarios are listed below:
1.Municipal Sewage Treatment Projects
Applicable to new aeration tanks, oxidation ditches, SBR, A²/O and other biochemical processes in urban sewage plants. It can also serve as retrofitting equipment for old aeration pools, realizing uniform oxygen supply and sludge suspension to avoid sludge deposition at tank bottoms.
2.Industrial Organic Wastewater Treatment
Suitable for wastewater from food processing, slaughtering, starch, papermaking, printing and dyeing, chemical industry, pharmaceutical and beverage industries. It adapts to water quality fluctuations and supports aerobic biodegradation to degrade COD and BOD.
3.High-risk Clogging Wastewater Working Conditions
Preferred for landfill leachate, high-calcium hard water, high-salinity wastewater, oily wastewater and wastewater prone to scaling. Compared with micro-pore aerators, vortex aerators have no tiny air holes and greatly reduce the risk of blockage.
4.Water Ecological Restoration
Used for aeration and oxygenation of black and odorous rivers, landscape lakes and artificial ponds, increasing dissolved oxygen, improving water self-purification capacity and inhibiting anaerobic odor generation.
5.Aquaculture Water Bodies
Applied to oxygen replenishment and water mixing in breeding ponds, stabilizing dissolved oxygen levels and reducing local anoxic areas.
6.Other Liquid Phase Mixing Scenarios
Available for liquid stirring, gas-liquid mixing and pre-aeration in regulating tanks, conditioning tanks and flocculation tanks; applicable to occasions requiring simultaneous aeration and agitation.
7.Limitation Reminder
Vortex aerator have relatively limited oxygen transfer efficiency in ultra-shallow tanks. For pools with water depth less than 1m, performance verification is recommended prior to selection.
