The installation of fine bubble diffuser shall follow standardized procedures in the sequence of pre installation preparation, step by step construction, commissioning and acceptance. This ensures uniform aeration without leakage and improves system operating efficiency.
I. Pre installation Preparation
Site cleaning: After completion of all civil works, thoroughly remove debris and sharp protrusions from the tank bottom to keep it flat and free of damage risks.
Material verification: Count accessories including aerators, air distribution pipelines, connectors and fasteners against construction drawings, and check that all components are free of surface damage.
Product storage: Store uninstalled aerators indoors at 5 60 ℃. Avoid direct sunlight, heavy compression and contact with hard objects.
II. Core Installation Procedures
Fixing adjusters: Secure adjusters to the tank bottom with expansion bolts according to design spacing. Maintain the height from the aerator surface to the tank bottom within 200 270 mm.
Laying air distribution pipelines: Arrange air distribution pipelines in a ring layout. Fasten pipelines onto adjusters with pipe clamps. Keep the main pipe flow velocity at 10 15 m/s and branch pipe flow velocity at approximately 5 m/s.
Connecting aerators: Disc type aerators adopt G3/4 threaded connection, with internally threaded bases and externally threaded aerators. Tubular aerators are fixed by stainless steel clamps. Install rubber sealing rings at joints to guarantee tightness.
Layout verification: Distribute aerators evenly across the tank bottom. Maintain reasonable spacing between individual aerators as well as between aerators and tank walls to eliminate aeration dead zones.
III. Post installation Commissioning and Acceptance
Water filling and leakage test: Fill the tank with water until the water level is 10 cm above the aerators. Supply air and inspect all joints, and eliminate air leaking points in a timely manner.
Air supply commissioning: Gradually increase air flow, observe aeration performance, and confirm no local uneven aeration or aerator displacement occurs.
Drainage and venting: Before the first time operation of fine bubble diffuser, open each group of drain valves to blow out accumulated water inside pipelines by air pressure, then adjust air volume to design operating conditions.
